Prominent Designer Series: Part 3

I’m late! I’m late! Life got in the way of yesterday’s post, so expect two today. Now, picking up where we left off in our Prominent Designer Series, I give you a suit by Paula Dean (no, not Paula Deen), a knockout number by Estévez, and a snazzy little coatdress by A. Harmay.

Paula Dean M101 - Attractive two-piece suit look

Estévez M221 - Bodice-beautiful, slim or full skirt

A Harmay M334 - Attractive, new side coat-dress

If any of you run into a copy of that Estévez pattern, please do let me know!

Stay tuned for Part 4 tomorrow shortly.

Prominent Designer Series: Interrupted

Whoops! I forgot to queue up the next installment of the Prominent Designer Series of sewing patterns before I left the house this morning, and I neglected to store the images in Dropbox so I could reach them remotely. I promise, you will see Part 3 later today. Thank you for your patience!

David Crystal A775 - Elegant, soft, scarf-tied collar and Oleg Cassini A749 - Curves glorify your figure

Richard Cole A930 - Jacket and sheath dress

Prominent Designer Series: part 1

On Friday I promised you a new series this week, and here we go! For the next 2 weeks I’ll be posting daily images from a vintage broadsheet-style catalog I have of Prominent Designer Patterns. There is no printed date, and an online search for individual patterns usually dates each one to “1950s,” but I think overall they look more early ’60s. Of course, some of these patterns may have been in print for a few years. If you have more specific information about any of these, please be sure to share in the Comments!

As always, you can click on the images for embiggerationing.

As I type this out, none of these individual patterns are in stock at Winkorama, however I can find a few here and there when searching online. May the vintage juju be with you if you fall in love with any of these!
